Miami Could Pursue Deal for All-Star-Level Player This Summer

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat could pursue an All-Star-level player in a trade this summer. Despite the slow progress in negotiations, the Heat remain the frontrunners to acquire Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
Lillard's agent, Aaron Goodwin, has been actively reaching out to potential trade partners, cautioning them against making a move for his client. However, the Heat are determined to strengthen their roster and believe that Lillard could be the missing piece to their championship aspirations.
The Heat recently re-signed guard Victor Oladipo, who has shown promise but has yet to fully regain his All-Star form. The acquisition of a star player like Lillard would provide Miami with a much-needed boost and could put them in contention for the NBA championship.
