Bremerton Woman Killed in Accident
Bremerton, WA – A 36-year-old Bremerton woman died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle rollover crash on State Route 3 near Bremerton on August 16, 2024.
Details of the Crash
According to the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, the woman was driving southbound on SR 3 just south of Gorst when her car struck the center median, causing it to roll over. The woman was reportedly ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
A 7-year-old child was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash but was not injured.
Investigation Ongoing
The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash. No further information is available at this time.
Family Files Wrongful Death Suit
The family of the deceased woman has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the parties involved in the crash. The family alleges that the other driver was negligent and caused the crash.
